I had the privilege of serving as both a broker and community builder in helping McBarnes Real Estate, LLC acquire the historic McBarnes Building in Downtown Bloomington. Though the property had once been revitalized in the early 2000s, it had since entered receivership, requiring careful navigation through a complex acquisition process. Once the property was secured, I helped attract and secure Meyer-Capel Law Firm as a new first-floor tenant. I then collaborated closely with the firm and new ownership to engage my Catalyst Construction pre-construction team to design and our Construction team to renovate the entire first floor. Grateful to have played a small roll in reestablishing the McBarnes Building as a strong, contributing asset to the heart of downtown.
